Kerala Plus 1 Allotment 2021 - Online Application Procedure

Updated: Online applications for the students who have qualified the SSLC/Class 10 equivalent examination and who are interested in studying for Plus 1 higher secondary class has started receiving at the official website of HSCAP. You can visit the official site for more information, and we'll write a new post explaining the complete procedure for applying plus one allotment (single-window process).

Thiruvananthapuram: Students can apply for a higher secondary single window allotment process from July 15 onward online. The first allotment will get published on the 15th of August, before that there will be a trial distribution process, by using it students can determine whether they have applied for the allotment process correctly or not if there is any correction to be made they can correct it via online.

Plus 1 class will start on August 18 if all things go according to our plan. The class will start from this date itself on the newly allotted plus 1 school in Kerala: as said by our education minister C. Raveendranath.

Kerala Plus 1 Allotment 2021 Process 

Per the applications received till June 2, 2021 trial allotment will get published online on 11th June. After that, the first allotment will get published online on 18th June. Board of Education is planning that almost 95% of students who are applying through the single window will get allotted in any of the government colleges after the declaration of the first 2 main allotments. And the plan is to start the class from July 9 onward. We will continue receiving the application for allotment even after the class starts, and they will get placed after publishing additional allotment results.

Overall, there are 3,26,980 plus one seat allocated in Kerala government schools. Differently, from the previous year, there will be only 50 seats per science batch. 148 panchayath schools where there is no higher secondary grade will get permission to start new plus one batch.


Sports quota admission will be made by using two online allocation processes, similarly as done in the previous year. First, the students must register their certificates online to the District Sports Council. Secondly, those who get an allotment for the plus one education, they must register online to get admission under sports quota.

Before declaring the final primary allotment using single window process, 2 individual allotments for the sports quota applicants will be done as said by the education minister.
